The Medium van hire with driver or Medium van hire with two person teams are usually offered in standard short wheel base (SWB) vans such as Ford Transit Custom, Renault Traffic or VW Transporters. The load bays of which are up to twice that of our small van and can accommodate loads including some small furniture.
We do use some SWB vehicles with high roofs and would need to know of any height restrictions at either end of your move such as underground car parks or arched entrances etc.
Our medium van hire with driver service is very popular with young professionals relocating for work, later year students who find belongings multiply quite rapidly as life moves forward and doctors.
As with the small van you have two options available. They are van hire with driver only or a two man team.
Comprehensive Insurance is included with every move. Our insurance covers both goods in transit and our activities in and around your property.
We are based in North Shropshire and are ideally placed to offer long distance medium van hire with driver services up and down the UK mainland. A popular route for this size of vehicle is Nottingham to Southampton and with an early start we are able to complete this in one day. We are not able to complete a move of any greater distance in one day but you will be offered next working day delivery.
Some parts of the Scottish highlands and islands require hotel stop overs, any such additional costs will be added to your quote at the point of booking and any such changes will be explained to you.
Our Medium Van hire with driver services are subject to a minimum charge of £175.26

What a brilliant and faultless service we received from Student Movers and at a really competitive price too.
We told them by e-mail what was to be moved (giving the approximate sizes and weights) and where it was all located. The two very friendly and able men arrived at the two pick-up points (Essex and West London) on time, moved all of the items into the two vans and arrived in Edinburgh when expected. The job started at 8 a.m. and was all completed by 1.30 a.m. the next morning. Student Movers did a wonderful job and we will certainly use them again.

I booked student movers to relocate from London to Manchester. The communication about my move prior to the collection was super-efficient and I always got a speedy response. It was reassuring to know that I could contact the owner at any time on his mobile should I need to speak to someone. The move itself was effortless. The guys turned up, loaded the van and we got on our way in a matter of minutes. I traveled with the van and the guys did everything to make me comfortable along the way and we had a nice coffee break to break up the journey! We used Student Movers last week when moving from our two bedroom flat in Chester to a house in Somerset. We had originally planned to use a big removal company but the prices were very expensive and the move would have had to have been spread over 2 days, which would have meant staying overnight in a B&B.
However, Student Movers provided us with a very competitive quote, even accommodating our requested 2am start so that the whole move could be done in a day! Both guys were very friendly and helpful and the whole move was very efficient and on time, with everything arriving safely. This is a fabulous service and I would really recommend it for people looking for an alternative to hiring a big removal company.

We found student movers by using a search for moving room contents for students on Google UK. The website they maintain is user friendly and easy to navigate. It contains information all about their service and useful links also. We asked for a quote and were given one based on our specification within 48 hours. This was accurate and the price we were charged finally matched this exactly. There were no hidden extras. The communication before the move was first class. On the day the mover arrived on time and was quick and professional. The next day we were in London and the same person arrived at the student residence exactly on time as suggested. He moved all the goods in to the room within 1 1/2 hours and nothing was damaged or missing. We paid for the move then, not before the day, and were provided with a comprehensive receipt. We were moving a lot of goods from Chester to London. It was quick, efficient and great service.
